Email Required Setting

The Email Required setting allows you to have control over whether or not an email is required in back-office bookings.

Require Email

  1. Sign in as the primary account administrator or user with administrative privileges.
  2. Select the Settings tab in the top navigation bar.
  3. Select Preferences link from the left-hand navigation.
  4. Tick or untick the Email Required box to enable or disable this feature.

If Email Required is ticked, then a reservationist will have the option of completing a booking in the back-office without entering a customer email address. In the screenshot below, you can see how a reservationist will be able to complete a booking without an email address.
