Holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, company outings...There may be a few days out of the year when you need to close down shop for the day, or certain times. To block off availability for specific dates and times, you'll want to use the Blackout Schedules selector in Global Settings.
You may also have the need to have restrictions based on the physical capacity to serve several groups of guest experiences, but you are limited by staffing constraints to check-in these groups at the same time.
The following details how to set up these types of restrictions in Global Settings, meaning that these selected Blackout Schedules and restrictions will apply to all your listings. For details on how to set up Listing-Specific Blackout Schedules, click here.

Limit reservations per Time Slot
This feature ensures that no more than the specified number of reservations can start at the same time across all your listings. This helps limit the number of groups checking in at the same time.
- Navigate to the Listings tab and select Global Settings.
- In the drop-down, select Blackout and Restrictions.
- Toggle on the limit the number of reservations per time slot.
- Next, add the amount of reservations you will allow on one time slot.
Note: This will override any capacity you have set.
For Example: If you have a capacity set to 10 guest for a listing, and your limit restriction is set for the time slot is 2 reservations.
Reservation 1: 2 guest
Reservation 2: 4 guest
Your capacity is capped at 6 guest and the last 4 spots will be unavailable.
