Create or Edit a Gift Button

Xola's gift certificate module allows you to sell gift certificates through Gift Buttons on your website or in the Xola back office. Below we've outlined how to create or edit a Gift Button and find the HTML code to install on your website's backend.

Create a Gift Button 

1. Navigate to the Settings tab, and select Button Code.
2. Select the Gifts tab.
3. Select +Create New Button
4. Click and drag the options you want to offer from the left side menu to the right. Any listings you add will be sold as full price gift certificates. You can also drag over any gift offers or the custom dollar amount option.
5. Click Save.
6. Xola will autogenerate button code for this new gift button. Hover over it and click Copy - You can then paste this into the backend of your website.

Update a Gift Button 

1. Navigate to the Settings tab, and select Button Code.
2. Select the Gifts tab.
3. Hover over the button you want to update and click Edit. 
4. Click and drag the options you want to include from the left side menu to the right. TO remove options drag them from the right to the left. You can also re-order them via drag and drop on the right side. 
5. Click Save.
6. If this button is already on your site it should update automatically. You may need to clear cache or try a private browsing window if you don't see the change immediately. 
7. If you need to add the code to your website, simply hover over the button and click Copy. You can then paste this into the backend of your website.
